The invention relates to non-destructive testing of products from sheet materials by acoustic emission signals and can be used in determining the location of acoustic emission sources on conical surfaces,
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the method by using only one group of fixedly mounted converters.

триангул ционных параметров .In the device (Fig. 2), electroacoustic transducers 1-4 are placed along the perimeter of the cone cross-section (Fig. 3) at equal distance from one another. The first 5, second 6, third 7, fourth 8 channels of receiving signals by inputs are respectively connected to electroacoustic transducers 1–4, and outputs to block 9 of measurement of triangulation parameters. The 10 coordinates and the indicator 11 are connected in series with each other and with the block 9 of measurement of triangulation parameters.
The method is carried out as follows.
Electroacoustic transducers 1-4 are placed on the cone-shaped surface 1-4 along the perimeter of the cone cross-section (Fig. 3). A network of control points (not shown) are applied to the surface of the cone and imitate acoustic emission signals C with them. Fig. 1) (for example, from the stoker at point A), in which the electroacoustic transducers of the corresponding numbers are located. The signals of these transducers are amplified in a certain frequency band in the channels 5–8 of receiving signals. According to these signals, in block 9, the triangulation parameters are measured (the time intervals between the signals in the channels and the sequence of the signals
The method of determining the coordinates of the acoustic emission source in products with a cone-shaped surface consists in measuring the instants of arrival of acoustic emission signals to a group of transducers during calibration and measurement, and comparing them with the coordinates of their arrival determine the required coordinates, and calibrating puv channels). According to them, block 10 determines the source coordinates, i.e. contrasting the scanning of the surface point under study, so that the source of the acoustic signal simulator signals is in the section plane (by the formulas for determining the coordinates on the plane).

The obtained values of the coordinates of the control point, depending on the cone-shaped surface, differ in different ways from the values of the coordinate coordinates of the projection point of the control point on the section plane. The ratio of the values of like coordinates of the same point gives the conversion factor. Then, the reception of acoustic emission signals (product control) S at which the location of the developing defects is unknown is started. Acoustic emission signals are received (by the same converters 1–4) and amplified (signal reception channels 5–8), their triangulation parameters are measured (block 9), according to which block 0 determines the coordinate values as the plane length. The display of the indicator 11 shows the location of the signal sources on the sectional plane of the cone-shaped surface (Fig. 3). If necessary, the operator can change the values of the received coordinates according to the obtained conversion factor. According to the difference in arrival times of the simulation signals to the transducers, the conditional coordinates of the control points are determined using the calculation formulas for the plane and the correction coefficients are calculated with respect to the received coordinates of the corresponding control points. The 35 signals of the acoustic emission source determine their conditional coordinates using the calculation formulas for these, and the true The values of coordinates source of acoustic emission Nachod t, multiplying correction coefficients respectively for conventional coordinate values.
