Abstract

The invention proposes a foldable boat having a rearward portion mounted on hinges extending medially of the boat and arranged so as to fold forwardly over the front portion of the boat. The front portion of the boat includes retractable wheels so the boat may form a trailer for an automobile. These is also provided a retractable wheeled structure for assisting in moving the boat from the water over muddy surfaces when the boat is to be transported on the highway. The power plant for the boat is mounted substantially medially of the boat with the drive shaft depending therefrom into the water.

Description

The invention relates to shipbuilding, namely folding boats. The purpose of the invention is to improve the usability of operation. Fig. 1 schematically shows a folding boat, a general view; Figure 2 is the same, with a stern superstructure; on fig.Z - section aa in figure 2; 4, the folding mechanism of the boat sections; on fig.Z - installation of the outboard motor. Folding boat contains bow 1 and 2 sections of the feed, pivotally interconnected. One of these sections, aft, is folding and has a face wall 3. Aft section 2 is rotatably mounted about an axis 4. The nose section 1 is transportable and has a superstructure 5 with side windows 6 and a running gear 7 for transportation along drier The bow section of the bow section 1 has a device for coupling the folding boat, with an elevated vehicle, executed in the form of a hook 8. The outboard motor 9 is attached to the aft section of the bow section. The bow section has an inlet 10 located in the 11th plane of the forward and aft sections. The aft section 2 is made with side cuts 12 and with a vent 13 in the end wall 3. The height of the bow section together with the superstructure exceeds the height of the aft section. In the folded position, a closed space B is formed between the surfaces of the end wall and the bottom of the hinged section and the surfaces of the trunk of the section being shipped. Above the hook 8 there is a free space 14 in which you can place the winch or other equipment. For transporting a folding boat, a transport trolley 15 is used, having wheels 16 with an axle 17. To facilitate the process of pulling the trolley 15, the transported section 1 can be equipped with an auxiliary vehicle 18 installed almost in the center of the weight of the folding boat. This auxiliary vehicle is retractable. It can be equipped with rollers 19 with a chain of 20, so that an auxiliary vehicle does not fall through weak ground. An easy-fitting superstructure 21 can be installed on the hinged section 2. The device of the rear section of the aft section is made with rollers 22, through which a cable 23 is loaded, loaded with a spring 24 and acting on the end of the lever 25. The spring is always in a stressed state if the boat is in folded or unfolded. In the position shown by the solid line, the spring 24 is unloaded, and the hinged section 2 is in equilibrium with respect to the bearing of the axle 4. Thanks to this, it is possible to carry out the folding process without physical effort. The motor 9 is mounted in the center of the boat on the end wall of the transported section. Therefore, in the folded state of the boat, the motor is always available outside. The motor can be moved in height along the rod 26, as a result of which the depth of the propeller 27 can be adjusted. The folding boat is used in the following manner. In the folded position, the flap section 2 completely covers the transported section 1, thereby creating additional protection against external influences. This is an additional protection not only against possible penetrations inside, but also against bad weather. In the folded position, the side cuts and a cutout in the end wall of the hinged section coincide with the side illkminatorami 6 and with the upper part of the entrance 10 to the nasal section. In the folded state, enough light penetrates into the folding boat, the side openings 12 are covered with transparent material. Due to the coincidence of the side cuts of the aft section with the portholes of the nose section, and the inlet opening in the end wall of the aft section with the upper part of the inlet opening of the nasal section, the boat can be used for housing either in the folded position or unfolded.
