The purpose of the invention is to reduce the spec. the ability of the precipitate of hydrated titanium dioxide during calcination and
The use of synthetic fatty alcohols, other than the proposed fraction, does not allow to achieve the effect of reducing the sintering ability and PCA pig85 reducing the photochemical activity of titanium dioxide pigment dioxide. The goal is achieved according to the method of producing titanium dioxide pigment, including hydrolysis of titanium sulfate solution, treating the hydrated titanium dioxide suspension obtained with compounds of elements from the group including potassium, zinc, aluminum, silicon and phosphorus, in the presence of an organic surfactant, which is a monoatomic synthetic fatty alcohols of a limiting range with a carbon number of 7-12, taken in an amount of 0.21, 0% by weight of titanium dioxide in its hydrated ucts and rutiliruyuschih embryos treated slurry subsequent filtering and calcining the precipitate thus separated. The proposed method allows to reduce the sintering capacity of GDT during calcination to a value of 0.25-0.30 and reduce the photochemical activity (PCA) of the target pigment by about 0.4 0, 45 used units. to a value of 0.85 usled compared to the known method. The decrease in the sintering of titanium dioxide particles in the process of calcination of the DGT is due to the fact that the proposed surfactant in the form of monatomic, synthetic fatty alcohols has a high adsorption to the surface of the DGT. lower strength and easier to raemalgo. In addition, with a decrease in the number of active centers on the surface of the particles of the pigment GDT, as a result of its treatment with synthetic C-fatty alcohols, the PCA of the target pigment decreases. When using 0.2 wt.% Surfactant, a sufficient effect of reducing sintering and PCA is not achieved, and when using 1 wt.%, It is not observed. improvement of these indicators and, respectively, increase the efficiency of surface treatment. 3 cops, which is confirmed by the experimental data. Example 1 (by a known method). 0.76% zinc sulfate, 2% aluminum sulphate in terms of AKO and 0.1% of water glass in terms of SiOn are added to the suspension of GDT and stirred until the pH is 6j1. Then kerosene is added to the suspension, rinsed with 92% sulfuric acid, containing 7% ether-aldehyde fractions as wastes of alcohol production, the suspension is stirred in the separator for 60 s, then filtered, and the precipitate is calcined at 300-950 ° C - within 8 hours. The sintering during calcination of a GDT 0.55, PCA of the target pigment 1.45, dispersion time up to 20 µm in PF060 lacquer 32 min. Example 2. Into the GDT suspension obtained by hydrolysis of a solution of titanium sulphate is introduced with respect to to TiO 0.76% zinc sulfate, 0.54% potassium sulfate, 1% phosphoric acid you and monoatomic synthetic fatty alcohol (SGS) fractions in the amount of 0,, 2%. The suspension is stirred until the pH is set to 0.1, filtered, the resulting precipitate is calcined 854 at 300-950 ° C for 8 hours. The sintering of the product during calcination is 0.30, the PCA of pigment is 0.85 standard units, dispersibility is up to 20 microns in varnish PF060 16 min. The table shows the data on the sintering of GDT during calcination, PCA and the dispersibility of the target titanium dioxide pigment for various salt treatment conditions in the presence of an organic surfactant according to known and proposed methods and in the absence of the latter. As can be seen from the table, the proposed method for the preparation of pigmentary titanium dioxide in comparison with the known method: provides a reduction in the speckage with calcination of the GOT by 0.2–0.25% and PCA for O, 5–0.55 conventional pigment. while improving the dispersibility of the pigment in the binder. A decrease in the sintering ability of GDT during calcination intensifies the process and reduces its energy intensity, and a decrease in PCA of titanium dioxide pigment improves the weather resistance of paint coatings and, accordingly, their cost-effectiveness 1 durability during operation.
