This invention relates to hydrotransport of granular materials and can be used in the mining, chemical and metallurgical industries.
1.A known method for the preparation and hydrotransport of granulated slag, according to which granules are mixed and transported with water 1.
The disadvantage of this method is large head losses due to agglutination of the granules and an increase in the equivalent grain diameter. Large specific (per unit length of the pipeline) pressure losses are unacceptable, since the profitability of the entire hydrotransport complex decreases sharply.
2.There is also known a method for preparing a granulate for hydraulic transportation, which consists in mixing the granulate in a liquid with a fine-grained material. During the mixing process during transport, small particles adhere to the surface of the stakes and form a protective layer that prevents the stakes from breaking or sticking together. The required amount of fine-grained material is determined by calculation 2.
The disadvantage of the known method is an arbitrary selection of the particle size of the fine-grained material constituting the protective shell of the granule, which does not always ensure a reduction in head loss, even while maintaining the size of the granules. Due to the high roughness of the granules with a particle size of fine-grained material larger than a certain, the pressure loss during transport increases sharply. The calculation method does not allow to accurately determine the amount of fine-grained material to create a protective coating for the granules due to the extremely large multi-factoriality of the process (type of binder, the actual oil content of the granules, the sieve composition of the granulate as an estimate of its total external surface, etc.). These factors are subject to continuous change, which further complicates the calculation and causes its inaccuracy.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the preservation of the graft during transportation.
The goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of preparing granulate for hydraulic transportation, which consists in that the granulate is mixed in a liquid with fine-grained material, fine-grained material with a particle size of less than 0.1-0.2 of average granulate size is used.
In addition, the granulate is mixed with the fine-grained material until the change in the content of the latter in the mixture is stopped.

Это исключает увеличение среднего эквивалентного диаметра зерен и, следовательно, увеличение потерь напора при гидротранспортировании гранул та.material of the surface of the granules, which significantly reduces the effect of their sticking together in the conglomerates during hydrotransport. This excludes an increase in the average equivalent grain diameter and, consequently, an increase in head loss during hydrotransport of the granulate.
The method is carried out in the following way.
При перемешивании смеси гранул т -The initial granulate (made on a binder substance having refractory properties, such as fuel oil, tar, etc.) is fed into the mixer where the slurry of the solid material simultaneously flows. When mixing the granulate mixture -
5 solid material - liquid occurs adhesion adhesion of small grains of solid material to the surface of the granules, covered with a binder. In addition, particles of solid material with sufficient kinetic energy, with

Так как аутогезионное взаимодействие дл поверхностей твердое - твердое значительно меньше, чем дл поверхностей жидкость - жидкость, то слипание гранул, «армированных слоем твердого материала, значительно меньще, чем слипание исходных гранул, покрытых слоем св зующего вещества (например, мазута). a meeting with a granule is introduced into its surface layer; as a result of these phenomena, the outer layer of granules is saturated with grains of solid material. Since autohesion interaction for solid-solid surfaces is significantly less than for liquid-liquid surfaces, the adhesion of granules “reinforced with a layer of solid material is much smaller than the adhesion of initial granules covered with a layer of adhesive (for example, fuel oil).
0 The granulate thus treated is separated from water (containing a portion of the solid material not included in the surface layer of the granules) on an arc screen and sent to a mixing chamber. After mixing the granulate with the liquid carrier to the consistency required for the hydraulic transport, the granulated slurry is pumped into the transport pipeline. When transporting grakul that "reinforced with solid material
0, there is no conglomeration of the granules in the pipeline, which excludes an increase in the specific pressure loss.
The test of the method is carried out on the coal oil granulate. the granulating agent of which is coal of the “G” grade, and the binder is the heavy fuel oil of the MUO at its consumption of 15% on the dry weight of the coal. The average particle size of the initial granules is 1.0 mm. The granulate is placed in a slurry of the same coal with a grain size of solid, 0, mm. The obtained granulated slurry - coal 0.1 mm - water (G: Y: B 1: 1: 2) is moved by a broom with a cross-shaped working element at a speed of its rotation of 1000 rpm. Every minute a slurry is sampled, and in it
The carbon content is 0.1 mm. At the beginning of the slurry mixing, coal 0.1 mm is actively introduced into the surface layer of the granules, and its content in the mixture
As the surface layer of the granules is saturated with coal. 0.1 mm, the introduction of new grains into the pellet becomes difficult, which leads to a decrease in the rate of change (decrease) in the coal content in the slurry. To 12-15 minutes of mixing the slurry. granules - coal, 0.1 mm - water, the content of coal in the mixture decreases by 25% relative to the original and stabilizes at this level. This corresponds to the completion of the process of "reinforcing pellets with coal fines 0.1 mm. After 15 minutes of mixing, the granulated slurry and the remaining 0.1 mm coal is fed to an arc sieve with a slit of 0.5 mm. Water with the remaining (not included in the granules) 0.1 mm carbon constitutes the undersize product, the granulate is above the sieve. The granulate obtained is mixed with a liquid carrier — water — before and is pumped into a transport pipeline with a diameter of 104 mm, in which the hydraulic head loss is determined during transportation of the slurry during operation (1.1 from the critical one).
The test of the proposed method is also carried out with a coal size of 0.2; -0.3; - 0.5 and - 0.05 mm.
For comparison, the initial granulate without processing in a mixer with coal slurry is sent to a mixing chamber, where it is mixed with a liquid carrier — water — up to T: W 1: 2, and pumped to a transport pipeline.
е. крупности, меньшей 0,1-0,2Comparative test data show that, under the condition that the coal-oil granules and the CO slurry are treated, are 0.2 mm (i.e., the particle size is less than 0.1-0.2
С увеличением размера зерен угл в гидросмеси, примен емой дл обработки гранул та в мешалке, эффект уменьшени потерь напора при гидротранспортировании снижаетс и при крупности, большей 0,2 мм (большей 0,2 средней крупности гранул), практически очень мал ( менее 5%), что обусловлено повышением шероховатости поверхности гранул при уватичении крупности зерен в обрабатывающей угольной гидросмеси. medium-sized granules) hydraulic head losses during hydrotransporting are reduced in relation to the transportation of raw granulated coal slurry by 5–20%. With an increase in the grain size of coal in the slurry used to process the granulate in the mixer, the effect of reducing head loss during hydrotransport decreases even with a particle size greater than 0.2 mm (greater than 0.2 average grain size), almost very small (less than 5%). ), which is caused by an increase in the surface roughness of the granules when the grain size is reduced in the processing coal slurry.
The use of the invention allows
20%.5 to increase the transport efficiency of the granulate by approximately 20%.
