Description
В состав пол рографа вход т измерительный блок с системо, электронныГ усилитель , след щий двигатель с обратной св зью, механизм регистратора и блок питани .The subject of the invention is a polarograph, which is an electronic coordinate recorder that automatically records the polarograms of the analyzed solutions. In the proposed polarograph, as in the known polarographs, the removal of the polarogram of the analyzed solution is carried out by electrolysis of this solution in an electrolytic cell with a varying voltage of direct current. The polygraph comprises a measuring unit with a system, an electronic amplifier, a tracking motor with feedback, a recorder mechanism, and a power supply unit.
The proposed polarograph has the feature that, in order to avoid faults caused by a voltage drop on the measuring resistances connected between the power source and the electrolytic cell, an additional resistance is connected in series with the indicated resistances, which is supplied with a compensating voltage from the measuring cable. To displace the initial position of the meter pointer and compensate for the capacitive current of the electrolytic cell, a separate circuit was used for the current passing through the measuring resistances in the direction opposite to the current through the cell. To improve the accuracy of the measurement, the power of the measurement, compensation, and displacement chains is produced from one common power source. In order to smooth the current pulsations on polarograms when using mercury-drop electrodes by informing the following motor when increasing the measured current of greater rotational speed than when this current decreases, an unbalance voltage of the measuring circuit is applied to the grid-cathode section of one lamp of the power amplifier; on the grid of the second lamp of the same amplifier - only the potential bias of this lamp.
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a polarograph measuring unit; in fig. 2 - amplifier circuit.
For supplying the measuring unit to terminals A - B (Fig. II, a constant voltage is supplied from a rectifier. Power is supplied to the electrolytic cell of the motor with the substance being injected from the point and and the slide motor K.). To increase the voltage on the cell the slider moves with a synchronous motor. Reo chord R ,, provides voltage rise within one volt. D. voltage increases on the cell are double rheostats Ri and which displace zero on the rheochord R. Current passing through the cell of EL is measured by the voltage drop marriage on reference of Measuring resistance. To enable current measurement in a wide range with greater accuracy, a set of reference measuring resistances are provided in the circuit: R ,,, R, ..... R ,,,, switched on by switch B. Voltage drop across the measuring resistance is automatically compensated a voltage drop across the resistance R, fed from the measuring rail R.,. For this, an electronic amplifier is connected between points a and b (Fig. 2), to the output of which is attached a tracking motor moving the cursor of the rail rp and a pointer with a pen.
If the voltage drop across the resistance / ,, is equal to the voltage drop across the resistance, then the input voltage of the amplifier is zero and the next motor is at rest. If there is no equality of voltages, then unbalance acts at the input of the amplifier and, depending on the phase of unbalance, the engine moves the R1, slider engine towards decreasing unbalance to zero. The scale of a reichord R ,, is graduated in current units.
«. For accurate measurements of low concentrations of a substance in the presence of large concentrations of substances with more positive polarographic potentials, it is necessary to be able to shift the current to zero in order to be able to make measurements in a more sensitive range. For the zero offset, the circuit provides: a voltage divider with a switch. ". for rough
Offset and potentiometer Rt for smooth adjustment. A current inverse to the cell current is passed from the bias circuit through the reference measuring resistance R ,, and the balance at the amplifier input is changed and the corresponding pen position of the polarograph is automatically set depending on the magnitude of the bias current.
Capacitive current compensation is carried out using a reichord R, and a potentiometer Rs. Reohord Re provides compensation for the capacitive current component due to an increase in voltage across the cell. For this, the Rx chord Rf is paired with the R1 chord, and both slides move together with a paper tape on which recordings are recorded. The setting of the degree of compensation depending on the composition of the solution is made by installing the engine of the Potecimeter Ri. The compensation current is passed through the reference measuring resistance R. ,, in the opposite direction with respect to the cell current, which automatically subtracts the charging current from the total cell current.
рабо-.The amplifier of the graphograph (Fig. 2) has three voltage amplification stages and one power amplification stage on two dual lamps. Amplification of the sky voltage of the measuring unit is implemented on alternating current. Vibrating transducer B is used to convert direct current into alternating current, which periodically switches capacitor Ci to charge and discharge at the network frequency. As a result, alternating voltage is applied to the input of the amplifier. After the voltage is amplified, the signal goes to the power amplifier. Between midpoint is secondary. transformer windings Tp of this stage and the general minus of the amplifier include the control winding of the following motor. The second winding -U2 trace n1, its engine is adventitious to the network through the capacitor C2. Cascade power amplification can. work-
Re.in two modes: in the normal mode, when the grids of both lamps are interconnected ;: {the upper position of the toggle switch 71, and in the mode of decoding, when the BTOpoii grid is connected to the overall amplifier mini (the lower position of the toggle switch G). In the normal mode, the grids of both lamps have the same potentials, and the anode voltages are in antiphase. Therefore, the direction and speed of rotation of the servo motor is determined by the phase and amplitude of the incoming signal. In the damping mode, only the potential of the automatic displacement from the resistance R- is applied to the grid of the lamp, but the signal does not come to the grid. As a result, if the voltage of the signal coincides in phase with the anodic deposition of the first lamp, the tracking motor will have a small rotational speed, regardless of the signal amplitude, and the direction of rotation in the direction of decreasing of the measured current. If the voltage of the signal coincides in phase with the anode voltage of the second lamp, the tracking motor will have a speed depending on the amplitude of the signal and the direction of rotation in the direction of increasing the measured current. Different rates of current measurement with its increase and decrease provide smoothing of the current pulsipies on the half of the program, which is especially necessary when measuring small concentrations of a substance. The degree of smoothing of the pulsations can be adjusted by setting the resistance value Re.
The entire polygraph is powered from the 110/220 V AC mains. Voltage stabilization is carried out by ferroresonant stabilizer on the alternating current and stabilizer on the direct current. Polarograph has two rectifiers for powering the anodes of the amplifier and powering the measuring unit.
