Description
1, The invention relates to metallurgy, more specifically to the continuous casting of metals and alloys, especially cast iron. Known molds for continuous casting of metals, containing a body and a sleeve, on the inner surface of which, in order to increase cooling uniformity, inclined grooves of variable depth C1J are made. Regulatory cooling molds are known, containing an i-sleeve body in which The exit of the casting is made of a C 2 cavity cavity. Such crystallizers} ic - r -: r regulate the intensity:; oh: -,:; nor along the length of the casting, However, the mentioned christazlizates do not provide uniform day-to-day casting of non-circular forms (rectangular, angular, complex profile, etc.). Therefore, to obtain these preforms with a high degree of structural homogeneity, they are not suitable. Another disadvantage of such crystallizers is that the implementation of controlled heat sink cavities is produced in the heat of the liner. The cavities formed in the sleeve are with thermal stress concentrators and weaken its mechanical strength. This leads to the development of dangerous deformations and warping of the liner under the action of the ferrostatic pressure of the liquid metal and thermal stresses and premature destruction of the liner. The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the invention is a mold for horizontal continuous casting plants containing a forming sleeve and a cooled one. body consisting of inner and outer rings 3. The disadvantage of such a mold is that the cooling channels (cavities) you They are filled in the body of a graphite sleeve, which significantly reduces its mechanical strength, does not take into account the profile of the workpiece and is difficult to manufacture. The purpose of the invention is to increase the cost, the liner, the quality of the cast metal and the increase in productivity. 52 To achieve this goal, in the crystallizer continuously cast metals containing a mold sleeve and a cooled body consisting of the inner and outer rings are made on the surface of the inner ring of the body cavities filled with low thermal conductive material, located against the corners, protrusions and narrow walls of the passage channel of the forming sleeve, while the cavity width is equal to e. thermal conductivity coefficients of filler materials and sleeves; distance from the center of the liner to the insulated surface; minimum distance from the center of the liner to the surface of the passage. The cavities corresponding to the angles of the passage through the shape-forming sleeve are located in sectors with a central angle of 0.2-0.6 rad. Cavities corresponding to the projections and narrow walls of the passage channel of the forming sleeve are located in sectors with a central angle equal to (1.0-1.5) b / y where b is the width of the insulated surface. FIG. Figure 1 shows the proposed mold for casting a billet with two narrow edges and an angular zone, a transverse section, in Fig. 2 the same for casting square billet in Fig. 2. 3 - the same for casting slab-shaped workpiece. The mold contains a shaping sleeve 1. The sleeve is inserted into a cooled body consisting of an inner 2 and an outer 3 rings. On the surface of the inner ring of the housing in the sectors enclosing protruding elements of the workpiece, install cavities 4 filled with low thermally conductive material, such as air. The drawings show: the corners are the central angles of the sectors enclosing the zones of the corners of the workpiece; angles φ2 are the angles of the sectors enclosing the narrow faces of the workpiece — the distance from the cel- length of the sleeve to the surface of the corner zone; ) 2 distance from the center of the liner to the surface of the narrow faces of the workpiece; a is the minimum distance from the sleeve of the sleeve to the surface of the workpiece, against which the heat sink is aligned; - widths of narrow (insulated) faces. Cavities are installed in sectors enclosing corner zones, protruding elements and narrow faces of the workpiece, i.e. against those places where the sleeve in the radial directions has a smaller thickness and, therefore, the maximum heat sink. This makes it possible to reduce the heat sink in these directions to the level of heat removal from the rest of the workpiece and, in general, improve the uniformity of heat sink along its perimeter and improve the quality of the cast metal. The central angles of the sectors that enclose the insulated surface of the workpiece are associated with the geometric features of its profile. The central angles of the sectors enclosing the corner zones of the workpiece are ip 0.2–0.6 rad. When insulating narrow faces and protruding elements (faces), the central angles of the sectors are f (1.0-1.5) g rad, where O is the insulated face edge; 1 is the distance from the center of the gil to the insulated surface. Installing cavities when isolating the corner zones of the workpiece in sectors with central angles less than 0.2 rad and isolating narrow edges and protruding elements (faces) in sectors with central angles less than / - rad does not allow obtaining a dimensional structure around the perimeter of the workpiece. On the other hand, an increase in the sector angles of more than 0.6 rad while isolating the corner zones and btzlee 1.5 rad while isolating the faces leads to a significant decrease in heat removal from the surface of the workpiece, a decrease in the thickness of the solidified crust and a breakthrough of the liquid metal behind the crystallizer, avoiding what is necessary to reduce the rate of extraction of the workpiece, which reduces the performance of continuous casting. In addition, in the proposed mold, the width of the cavity in the radial direction is determined from the ratio (; f-ay-width of the cavity; -the thermal conductivity of the material with which the cavity is filled; -the thermal conductivity of the liner material; -maximum distance from the geometric center-to the minimum distance from the geometric center of the sleeve to the surface. The cavity width determined in this way ensures a uniform warm opening along the perimeter of the workpiece, which leads to Improving the quality of the cast metal. To ensure the same temperature of the surface of the workpiece along the perimeter, as well as the uniform temperature of the cooling of the surface of the housing, the cavity with the filler must have a certain width. It follows from the condition that the temperature of the workpiece is equal around the perimeter that the temperature difference between any The housing for each section is the same. Since the heat transfer from the workpiece to the cooled surface is carried out by heat conduction, the condition is Twa temperatures determine the equality of heat fluxes from the surface of the workpiece to the cooled surface of the housing. It is known that the heat flux is described by the Fourier equation oj, -3tc yQotT where n is the heat flux, temperature, and thermal conductivity of the medium. In our case, the heat transfer is carried out through the sleeve, the wall of the housing and the cavity with a low heat conducting material, which is an additional thermal resistance. Since for a steady-state process, about y O cf is a normal with a cooled medium on the surface of the case rinsed off with a refrigerant and having a constant temperature, the equality of heat fluxes causes the difference in thermal resistance in all radial extensions to. Considering that the wall thickness of the case bordering the sleeve is constant and its thermal resistance in the radial directions is also constant; the additional thermal resistance should only be compensated for by the change in the distance from the surface of the workpiece to surface of the sleeve in radial directions. Assuming that the sleeve in cross section is a circle with radius R, then, taking into account the notation of formula (1), the difference in thickness of the sleeve for all J C is R4iV (i5-yV-; -Q Then the width of the cavity of the compensating thermal resistance is determined from the ratio (i) The smaller the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the material of resistance, the smaller its maximum thickness and the less distorted the shapes of the surface of the wall of the case and its size. For example, air gaps (cavities) are installed on the cooled surface of the body, and the air is separated from the cool-ing plate by a thin, high-heat-conducting layer. The mold works as follows. After filling the cavity with the forming sleeve and the iron core, 55 the front of the hardened crust forms. a coolant is supplied to the cooled housing with the metal to provide an intensive heat removal through the walls of the mold. In this case, the heat sink through the cavity filled with low thermal conductive material will be adjustable. Due to a different heat sink, the crystallization front is aligned, which contributes to the formation of a uniform casting structure. In tab. .1-2 shows the test results of the proposed mold when casting iron blanks, the cross sections of which are shown in FIG. 2-3. The cupola cast iron of the following composition was used for casting,%: carbon 3.3-3.6; silicon 2.1-2.8; manganese 0.6-1, 1; phosphorus 0.09-0.11, sulfur 0.06-0.08; iron rest. The forming sleeves were made of MG graphite 1. Air cavities were installed on the surface of the inner ring of the housing. To calculate the cavity width, the following values of thermal conductivity coefficient were taken: for graphite MG 1 in the range of 1000-L 58 W / m-K; for air in the range of 150-50 ° C LU 3, 1 W / m «K. As follows from the table. 1 - 2 data, the application of the predicated crystallizer provides, when casting gray iron castings, as compared to existing ones, a reduction in the chill depth, an increase in the durability of the graphite liner and the productivity of the process. The economic effect is 49 thousand rubles with a volume of 4,600 tons per year.
