A device for protecting a converter against short-circuit and overload currents is known, which contains a back-connected diode connected by an anode to one of the terminals for connecting the load, the second terminal of which is connected via a common bus to one of the output terminals of the converter, a circuit from a follower connected sources of the throttle reference current and a thyristor switch with forced switching, connected respectively to the cathode and the diode anode, and the control unit of the reference current source, the output of which is connected to the pack Aulus yuschemu input sources ka C Ts eto safety device is highly reliable, virtually eliminates the effects of emergency, power components of currents on expensive converters with overload and circuit .korotkih x .voznikayuschih load. The device closest to the one being proposed is a device for protection of the converter against short circuits and overloads, which contains a current sensor and a first diode connected in series between a single-field terminal for connecting the converter and a load, the reference current source, one ir of which is connected to the cathode of the diode, and the other output is connected via the resetter to the first output of the thyristor switch with forced switching, and the setpoint unit, the input of which is connected to the output of the current sensor, and the output through the source control unit The reference current source is connected to the control input of the reference current source t 2. This device, compared to the above, is described more economically by reducing the consumption of electrical energy. A disadvantage of the known devices l and 2 is the inability to protect against short-circuits and overloads of converters providing transmission power in both directions, which takes place in reversible, recuperating and duplex semiconductor converters. The purpose of the invention is to expand the functionality. The goal is achieved in that the device for protecting the converter from short circuit and overload, containing a current sensor and a first diode, connected in series between the unipolar terminals for connecting the converter and the load, the reference current source, is one from the terminals of which is connected to the cathode of the aforementioned, and the other output is connected through the choke to the first output of the thyristor switch with forced commutation, and the setpoint setting unit, whose input connected to the output of the current sensor, and the output through the control unit of the reference current source is connected to the control input of the reference current source, the second, third and fourth diodes are inserted, the second diode is connected in series with the first so that their cathodes are connected and the anode is connected to the output of the current sensor and the cathode of the third diode, the anode of which is connected to the anode of the fourth diode and the second output of the thyristor switch with forced switching, and the cathode is connected to the anode of the first diode. FIG. 1 is a diagram of a device for protecting a converter against short circuit and overload; in fig. 2 shows the dependences of the current of the converter and the reference current for both directions of power transfer when using an analog current sensor. A current sensor 3 and diodes 4-7 are connected between converter 1 and load 2. One input of current sensor 3 is connected to the first output of converter 1, and the second is connected to the anode of diode 4 and the cathode of diode 5. The anode of diode b and cathode 7 are connected to the first the output for connecting the load 2, the second output of which is connected via a common bus to the second output of the converter 1. The output of the current sensor 3 is connected to the input of the setpoint setting unit 8, the output of which is connected to the input of the control unit 9 of the reference current source 10, the output of the unit 9 is connected n to the input of the source 10. The cathodes of the diodes 4 and b and the anodes of the diodes 5 and 7 are connected to a circuit of a series-connected reference current source 10, a drossel 11 gI thyristor switch with forced switching 12. and the diodes are on According to the reference current source 10. In normal - converter mode 1 converter current: Jy, equal to load current DH and less than the protection actuation current of ES Reference current source 10 provides current flow through two circuits: choke 11, thyristor switch with forced switching 12, diode 5, diode 4 and choke 11, t ristorny forced commutation key 12, a diode 7, diode used. Moreover, a current 0 op / equal to half of the reference current (:) 0, on) created by the source 10 flows through the diode. In the normal operation mode of the converter 1, regardless of the direction of power transfer .toki.-Eop. on. more current transformed. EP by. magnitude LE., i.e. Eopg 2l.) When transferring power from the converter 1 to the load 2, the current flowing through diodes 4 and 7 is equal, and through diodes 5 and 6 the load current flows in the closed -. In the case of an overload or short circuit in the load, 2Eop becomes equal to 5v, the current through diodes 5 and 6 stops, and the forced-switching thyristor switch 12 disconnects the converter 1 from the load 2. i When transmitting power from the load 2 to Inverter 1, the current flowing through diodes 5 and b is equal, and through diodes 4 and 7 when a load current in shut-off current flows, it is - When overloaded or short-circuited in converter 1, it is turned off by a protection device similarly. The protection device does not introduce into the main circuit between the converter and the load the inductive resistance when current flows. I The proposed device for protection of the converter 1, preserving: the same polarizer, known as high reliability and speed, ease of maintenance and others, it allows to protect from inverters D short-circuiting, recuperating and two-step converters from overload and short suction), providing power transfer in both directions, as well as converters and to alternating current weights with small intrinsic resistances.
