Description
The invention relates to a measuring technique and can be used in determining the deformation state of a material by optical methods. A method is known for determining residual deformations when the samples are made from a layered material with a given arrangement of layers relative to the load line. deform the samples under load corresponding to the load on the test piece, measure geometrically the parameters of the characteristic lines, display the layers of the layered structure Therians and it is determined increments remain accurate strain JV. However, this method does not allow to obtain high accuracy due to the discrepancy between the deformations of the sample and the part, the materials of which have a different structure and are subjected to non-identical loads. The closest to the invention in its technical essence and the effect achieved is a method for determining increments of residual deformations of a part, which consists in measuring the geometric parameters of a set of characteristic lines on the surface of the part, which are used as slip lines of layers of material under load, and they determine the increment of residual deformations C2. However, this method does not provide high accuracy in determining increments of residual deformations, since the slip lines of material layers occur only with significant residual deformations, and the number of these lines for a deformed part is small, which makes it impossible to judge the distribution of residual deformations on the part surface . The purpose of the invention is to increase the accuracy of determining the increment of residual deformations. The goal is achieved by agreeing on the method of determining the increment of residual deformations of a part, which consists in measuring the geometric parameters of a set of characteristic lines on the surface of a piece and determining the increments of residual deformations using them. Characteristic lines are used as characteristic lines The structure of the material of the part, caused by the processing technology, is displayed. Before measuring, the surface of the tested part is subjected to grinding and etching. In addition, the density of characteristic lines per unit length of the normal to these lines is determined, and the average values of material deformations are determined from them. By changing the width or direction of the characteristic lines, the boundary of the zone with the largest deformations of the part material is determined, the perimeter and area of this zone is measured, and the average deformation of the material in the zone is determined by the area relative to the perimeter. The method is carried out as follows. In one of the variants, on the part of the part with a flat, clean and free from oxides and other coatings, the surface is separated by a sequence of characteristic points that reflect the ordered structure of the part material, which was detected by the previous processing technology. The detection of characteristic lines formed by sequences of characteristic points is facilitated when the part is examined using optical means that increase from 4.5 to 10,000 times. At the same time, an increase of more than 10,000 times is impractical, since a small number of characteristic points with blurred borders that fall in the field of view do not form an easily identifiable sample of the desired characteristic lines of the material structure. Sample identification is based not only on the geometrical parameters of the points, but also on their mutual position relative to the set of observed characteristic lines. Geometric parameters such as the distance between two characteristic lines, the curvature of these lines, are used to determine the quantitative values of the increments of residual deformations in different zones of the part. Alternatively, before measuring, the surface of the test piece is subjected to grinding and etching, which increases the contrast image and reduces the number of image defects that prevent the pattern recognition of characteristic lines of the material structure. The technology for producing thin sections coincides with the technology adopted in structural studies of materials, in particular in metallurgy. As one of the embodiments indicated; methods use the following technique: after identifying the characteristic lines on the metal, they are drawn at different points on the surface of the part normal to these indices, and the density of the haaktern lines is determined, i.e. the number of lines per unit of length of the norale. Based on the measurement results, the average values of the material deformation increments at these points of the part are determined.
As another possible embodiment of the methods for measuring the width or direction of characteristic lines, determine the boundary of the zone of significant deformations of the material of the part, measure the perimeter and area of this zone, and determine the average deformation of the material in the zone from the ratio of the area to the perimeter. In this embodiment, the accuracy of the method increases with decreasing area to perimeter ratio and relatively little depends on the choice of the level of deformations recognized as significant, since the configurations of zones with different levels of minimum deformations are similar and relatively little different from each other in absolute geometric dimensions.
An example of the practical use of the method is the solution of the problem of determining the uniformity of sheet deformation at different sites in the rolling process. In this case, samples were cut off the sheets in the form of rectangular parallelepipeds oriented with one face parallel to the rolling plane, and the other perpendicular to the direction of rolling. To reveal the characteristic lines of the structure of the material, the faces of the samples are polished and etched, and the characteristic points on the surface of thin sections are examined with an increase from 4.5 to 100 times. Characteristic lines are about 0.02 mm thick. The length of the lines is 100-1000 times their thickness. On different samples: and different faces of the samples, the density of characteristic lines is determined along the normal to the family of these lines, and from these data the unevenness of deformation along the length and width of the sheet is determined. Obtaining quantitative data on the uniformity of residual strain when rolling sheet steel allows you to select the optimal rolling mode, quickly control this mode, conduct rapid analysis
каждого прокатанного листа и за счет всех этих мер повысить качество готовой продукции и уменышть долю проката низшего сорта.of each rolled sheet and, through all these measures, improve the quality of finished products and reduce the share of lower grade rolled products.
Another example of the practical use of the method is the solution of the problem of controlling residuals. deformations, bearing elements of the underwater pipeline. These deformations can reach significant values in individual most loaded sections of the structure due to the presence of stress concentrators, uneven distribution of the load in statically indeterminable systems, the existence of thermal stresses in the welded joints - and t, p. - To control residual deformations in the most loaded areas on the surface of the bearing elements are polished surface areas measuring about 10 cm, and “after etching, photographing characteristic lines are photographed, and the ground surface is photographed after pits are conserved, B dalney1chem periodically removed preservative lubricant repeated photographing characteristic lines and again conserved surface. Compared the geometric parameters of a set of characteristic lines in the images taken at different times, determine the increment of residual deformations during the operation of the pipeline. In this case, the control is carried out by a non-destructive method, which significantly extends the scope of application of the method.
п. . .The implementation of the method allows to improve and simplify the control of the stress-strain state of various structures, to reveal and evaluate the effect of various factors on the quality of products obtained by pressure treatment of materials, to simultaneously make decisions about repairing, reinforcing or replacing non-toxic structures whose residual deformations exceed the permissible limit, more objectively assess the quality and carry out the screening of products of rolling mills, etc. . .
