Description
JS The invention relates to chemical deposition of metallic coatings on dielectrics, in particular, to methods of activating the surface before applying copper coatings. A method of activating the surface of dielectrics before chemical deposition of metallic coatings, including solution processing of a complex salt of a non-precious metal, such as copper, and subsequent treatment in a solution of formaldehyde l, is iesaesthen. However, the implementation of the known method required a long (up to 200 min) treatment in solution formaldehyde, which degrades the adhesion of the resulting catalytically active layer of copper and its alloys. The closest to the invention in technical essence and the achieved result is a method of activating the surface before chemical deposition of metal coatings, including treatment in a solution of copper salt, washing in water and treatment in alkaline hydrazine solution 2 1 The known method allows to obtain on the surface catalytically active layers of copper , her firmly linked to the base. However, the duration of the treatment process in a solution of hydrazine also leads to disruption of the continuity of the copper layer. The purpose of the invention is to increase the rate of formation and absorption of the catalytically active layer on the surface of dielectrics. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of activating the surface of dielectrics prior to chemical deposition of metallic, mainly copper coatings, including processing in a copper salt solution, washing in water and treatment in an alkaline hydrazine solution, processing in hydrazine solution is carried after the surface, the surface is additionally treated in an alkaline solution of formaldehyde. In the implementation of the method, the pre-defatted surface of the dieletric is treated with an ammonia-gliderin solution of copper chloride, containing: copper chloride, 50 Glycerin, ml of 10O on the surface (20 min). Then the surface is washed in hot water (70-80 ° C) for 30 ° C to carry out the hydrolysis process, and then treated in an alkaline solution of hydrazine (2O g / L1 and, 0) at 2 ° C. At the same time, for a period of not more than 1 µm, a rapid gassing is observed and a dark-yellow copper oxide film is formed on the surface. After cessation of gassing, the surface of C6b is again washed with water and further treated in a 20% alkaline solution of formaldehyde (5) at 2 ° C. As a result, a dark metallic copper film is formed on the surface. Processing time up to 20 min. Activated in this way. the surface is immersed in a solution of chemical copper containing, g / l: Copper sulfate 20 Nickel chloride6 Sodium hydroxide 20 Segenetova. cate80 Formalin (33% solution), mk / l20 Deposition of the solution is carried out at 20 ° С and mechanical stirring of the solution. Data processing conditions for the proposed and known methods are given in the table.
