Spoj pri okenskem in/ali vratnem okovju, zlasti spoj vodoravnega in navpičnega dela okovja je na zadevnem področju znan in se v bistvu deli na dve vrsti spojev. Prva vrsta obsega ravno rezanje gonilne letve in čelnice, pri čemer se spoj dveh sosednjih delov okovja prekrije oz. poveže s ploščo.
