Abstract

The electric contact switch is made from an enclosure (1),which on one end features a terminal (2) for the supply line of the protected circuit, while on the other side there is a terminal (3) for the drain terminal of the protected circuit, whereas inside the enclosure a first switch (4) is anticipated, which is electrically connected to the coil (17) and terminal (3), as well as a second switch (5), while the moving contact (6), common for both the aforementioned switches (4) and (5) and the contact (10)on the disconnection side of the switch (5) is linked in series to resistor (12) and further on the mean (13), preferably a bimetallic strip. The mean (13) is linked to the first terminal of the coil (17) featuring a firing pin (18) which disconnects the switch (4) upon excessive current inside coil (17). In the area of the switches (4) and (5) there is a bracket (7) of a movable contact bridge (6), while the specified bracket (7) is rotionally embedded inside the rotating point (20) and is at the sametime supported by a spring (21) which forces the bracket (7) towards switch (5). There is also a holder (22) of the movable contact bridge (6) on the bracket (7). In its vicinity there is further a support (25) which holds the upper leg (26) of the bridge (6) by force, resulting from spring (23), so that the moving contact bridge (6) is made in the shape of a cross, whose upper leg (30) serves for the correct positioning of the bridge (6) in each operating position of the switch, while its transverse legs(30) serve as complementary contacts to the fixed contacts (9) and (10) of switch (5) and the lower, longest leg (15) serves as the complementary contact to the fixed contact (16) of switch (4).
