Abstract

The invention is based upon the problem of how to design a fog lamp or a similar lamp for motor vehicles where a unified light module should be installed preferentially into an invariable casing but generally into a casing adapted to be fixed on a suitable location in a vehicle or to a vehicle component. Considering accessibility to different kinds of vehicles in any conditions, the possibility of adjustment of the position of the light module should be assured with regard to the position of the lamp casing. The lamp for motor vehicles, especially the fog lamp, consists of the casing (1) and the light module (2) which can be inserted into the former. A rollable gasket (3) designed as an O-ring is provided for installation between the casing (1) and the light module (2). The casing (1) is equipped with fixing ears (11) or similar elements intended for fixing the lamp on an each time suitable location on the vehicle and with two diametrally opposite bearing ears (12', 12''). The light module (2) is equipped with a tubularly designed ring (24) located on the backside or end of the casing (1) and comprises two bearing pins (21', 21'') which are lying diametrally opposite to each other and can be inserted into the mentioned bearing ears (12', 12'') of the casing (1), while the pins and the ears are lying on the very same axis (10).
