Abstract

The subject of the invention is a trap for rodents made of a transparent plastic material in the shape of an oblong box. On the front side of the trap a freely swinging door is mounted with its height and width (3) a little longer than the remaining sidewalls of the trap, so that it can open into the interior of the trap only. There are small holes on the door through which a rodent animal can smell the odour of a bait which tempts it to enter the trap. Due to the gravity the door closes automatically and prevents the rodent from escaping. To empty the trap, it shall be turned for 180 degrees after which the swinging door will open widely into the interior allowing the prey to be removed easily.
