Abstract

A device for exposing a visual message, preferably an advertising message, on a basket comprising at least a side wall, a bottom part and an opening, the device comprising a casing (1, 1', 1'') adapted to the shape of the basket, said casing having a cavity designed to receive at least a part of the basket to form within itself at least a part of the internal volume of the basket, and means for realisably holding the casing (1, 1', 1'') to the basket. The casing (1, 1', 1'') has such a design that, when it is applied to the basket, it at least partly covers an internal and/or external side wall surface of the basket and in itself or in co-operation with the side wall surface and/or an object arranged between the casing (1, 1', 1'') and the side wall surface gives rise to such visual effects that the message appears. The invention also relates to a basket and a plate-shaped object for use together with the device, a fastening element for fastening the device to a basket and a method for exposing a message on a basket.
