Abstract
A fire-protected penetration of a conduit (13) through a hole in a wall (1) and a method of providing the same. The conduit has a through-going insulation (15), preferably of pipe insulation section type, made of mineral wool, which may be glass wool. The space between the hole wall and the conduit insulation (15) is filled with packed, radially compressed fire-retardant mineral wool (17), preferably rock wool.
