Abstract
The inner and outer stators are formed by rings (1, 2) of ferromagnetic material, each having an equal number permanent magnets (3, 4) or electromagnets arranged in a line along it with one pole facing the gap (6) between the rings and a pole in the other stator. The permanent magnets in the inner and outer rings have opposing polarity.
