Abstract

A load cell monitors the actual downwards force exerted by the object and using an electronic control circuit the current force exerted is compared with the initial downwards force, such that an increase in downwards force will cause the control circuit to send a signal to the lifting machine, instructing it to raise the object. Similarly, a reduction in the downwards force will result in the control circuit sending a signal to the machine instructing it to lower the object.
