Abstract

The present invention is a method of increasing the maximum available bit rate on a single data link, in order to gain capacity within single cells. The method uses the fact that the pulse shaping introduces known inter symbol interference (ISI) and utilises the idea of overcoming ISI by equalization. <IMAGE>
