Abstract

The drum chipper apparatus includes a frame (7), feed device (4, 5), a drum (2) equipped with blades and rotating devices, a counter-blade (8), a sieve (3) located beneath the drum (2), and a chip conveyor located beneath that. The sieve (3) includes two sieve layers (3.1, 3.2) on top of one another and devices (9) for moving them in relation to one another in order to adjust the opening size.
