Abstract

The invention relates to a device at a pipe joint between a first pipe having an insert part (1) and a second pipe comprising a sleeve end (2) having an internal radial groove (3) for a sealing ring. It comprises two fixing elements (34) having an exterior conical surface (38), an essentially cylindrical interior surface (42) having teeth (44) for lockingly engaging with the exterior side (30) of the insert part (1), and an axial abutment surface (40) against a supporting ring (10). The elements (34) occupy an enclosing angle of close to half a turn, and resilient spacers (36) are disposed between the end surfaces (46) of the fixing elements. The sleeve end (2) has a surrounding support ring (52) on the exterior side of the groove (3).
