The present invention relates to a reflector (1) for light fittings intended for compact fluorescents (6). The reflector (1) consists of an upper portion (2) and a lower portion (3). The merging surface (4) between the upper portion (2) and the lower portion (3) is horizontal. The inner surface (5) of the upper portion (2) displays a high reflection factor.
