Abstract

The cable has a screen of plaited or strip material with bi-conductors, and connected to protective earth at one end. Where the screen has such dimensions that it fulfils the requirement of protective earthing, the screen conductor can be used as protective earth and be further coupled to a considerable extent without closed earth current circuits occurring.
