Abstract

The bearer (2), by means of a drive mechanism (13), is movable forwards and backwards along guides (1, 1') supported by the vehicle frame between two axially separated end positions. The drive mechanism consists of a slow, power development unit (14), e.g. a hydraulic cylinder, with variable length, orientated across the bearer axial movement direction. At its opposing ends, the power development unit is articulatedly connected to a link mechanism (15) which is also articulatedly connected with the movable bearer and a fixed part (4) on the vehicle frame. An extension of the power development unit forces the link mechanism to move the bearer to the fixed part.
