Abstract

The countersunk seats are intended to accommodate each edged processing component in order during rotation of the drum to mill away material from the root end of the timber trunk. - The processing component is coposed on the one hand of a body (8) which fits in the seat, and on the other hand one or more turning cutters (9) which have similar dimensions than the body, and are in turn dismantlably fixed by fixture elements (20) in a second seat (18, 19) in the body. The individual cutters have at least two and pref. four alternatively turnable edges (24).
