The invention concerns an electrical contact unit, particularly an electrical current breaker, comprising a first and a second contact which are arranged to be able to be moved towards and away from each other in order to make or break the power circuit. It is characteristic of the invention that one contact 1 comprises a base part 3 and at least one contact device 5 in electrical contact with the base part, that the said contact device is arranged to be brought into electrical and mechanical contact with the second contact 2 for making of the power circuit, and that the said contact device 5 is fixed relative to the second contact 2, when the power circuit has been made but at the same time is arranged to be able to move relative to the base part 3 of the first contact 1. <IMAGE>
