Abstract

Auxiliary belt for crawler-type vehicle and of the type which, when used, can be applied to the ordinary belt of the crawler-type vehicle, the ground-contacting side of which latter belt has spaced-apart transverse supporting bars A1 in order to increase the bearing capacity of the vehicle and its navigability on snow-covered ground and other ground with poor bearing capacity. In order to achieve this, the present belt comprises two belt fields 1,2 arranged at a distance apart corresponding to the width of the ordinary belt and which belt fields 1,2 are joined together by means of transverse bars 3 arranged at a distance apart corresponding to a whole-numbered multiple of the centre spacing between the supporting bars A1 of the existing belt so as to be accommodated between these supporting bars and support the belt fields 1,2 on both sides of the existing belt A. <IMAGE>
