Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the phase separation and gelation by adding a low-density filler to a suspension of solid particles so as to equalize the density of a continuous liquid phase of a solid particle suspension in a non-aqueous nonionic surfactant liquid for treating a fabric with the density of the dispersed solid particles including the low-density filler. CONSTITUTION: This non-aqueous liquid fabric treating composition is obtained by adding a low-density particulate filler having a lower density than that of a liquid phase to a suspension of solid particles for treating the fabric in order to suppress the settling a non-aqueous nonionic surfactant of the solid particles for treating the fabric having a higher density than that of the liquid phase in a continuous liquid vehicle phase in the suspension of the solid particles in a non-aqueous nonionic surfactant for treating the fabric of so as to equalize the density of the solid dispersed particles including the filler with the density of the liquid phase. Thereby, the resultant non-aqueous liquid laundry detergent is stable to the phase separation and gelation.
