Abstract

An installation cable for a stationary system, which cable comprises a core containing electrical conductors which are surrounded by an aluminium casing which is surrounded by an outer casing composed of a suitable plastic material. In order that the installation cable has good bending properties, it being simple to remove the casing, the aluminium casing is roughened on its side facing the outer casing, for example by means of brushing, grinding or scraping. During the production of the cable, either an aluminium strip can be used which has been roughened in advance, or the roughening of the aluminium strip can be carried out during the production of the cable.
