Abstract

The centring casing (envelope) (72) and the auxiliary introduction part (74) form a unitary assembly (70). A friction link (44) exists between a region of the internal surface of the housing (32) intended for the flying projectile (10) on the front side of the thrust wall (30) and a smooth peripheral surface region (14) of the flying projectile. The centring casing (72) is formed in its rear half by a sealing and guiding ring (band) (78). The recesses (84, 86) extend rearwards as far as the sealing and guiding ring (78). A constriction groove (80) surrounds the housing (32), the recesses (84) extend as far as the nose region (87) of the auxiliary introduction part (74) and the recesses (86) are extended by a conical outer surface (82) of the auxiliary part (74). The slots (38) extend as far as a bearing surface (34) and are terminated in a peripheral annular circular groove (40). A second sealing region (50) is provided at the rear of the ring (78). <IMAGE>
