Abstract

For the manufacture of a positive electrode for use together with an anode and a thin layer of a polymer ion conductor in an electrochemical cell for storing electrical energy, a solution of an electro-active and electronically conductive polymer is used together with an ion-conductive polymer also dissolved together with a salt in a solvent suitable for both polymer materials and the solution is applied to a base whereupon the solvent is caused to evaporate so that the material remains as a thin or thick coating on the surface.
