Abstract

Rope attachment arrangement which consists of a bent length of wire. The arrangement is simple with regard both to its construction and to its use and permits the effective securing of a rope to an intended attachment. The length of wire exhibits two parts (3-4) which cross over one another and are able to be displaced relative to one another, which parts are so arranged as to be caused to move in a direction towards one another, from the relative point of view, through the influence of a rope (5) passed around one of the parts of the length of wire when a tensile load is applied to the rope (5).
