Abstract

The present invention relates to organic chemistry. The new compounds: N-Nicotinoylamino acids have the following general formula: <IMAGE> where for R' = <IMAGE> R'' = OH, Br; for R' = <IMAGE> , R'' = OH for R' = NH(CH2)3COOH, R'' = OH. The claimed compounds have an antihypoxic and antiamnesic activity and may have their application in medicine as agents of the type having nootropic action for the treatment of pathological states, especially of memory disorders, of cerebral circulation disorders, of after-effects of craniocerebral traumas and in geriatric practice.
