Abstract

Arrangement for fixing an impulse wheel (13) to a rotatable machine element (3) journalled relative to a fixed machine element (2). Such an impulse wheel (13) can be used, for example, for sensing rotational speed of a vehicle wheel. Practical difficulties are usually encountered, however, in finding suitable space for mounting the impulse wheel (13). According to the invention, this problem is solved by having the impulse wheel (13) be non-rotatably fixed to a ring (6) which is solidly joined to the rotatable machine element (3) and is included in an axle seal (5) between the machine elements (2, 3), and the impulse wheel (13) and the axle seal (5) forming a unit for assembly.
