Abstract

This invention is a non-return valve for media flowing from one space to another. Such non-return valves often have a complicated design or are prone to leaking. The non-return valve of this invention has a simple, reliable design consisting of an elastic sealing section (2), a stopper (3) and an elastic unit (4) that is situated between the first two components and connects by means of elongation. When the non-return valve is fitted and the media flows in the direction from the stopper (3) towards the sealing section (2), the media in question is allowed to flow through the connecting unit (4), which is elongated by the media. The media is prevented from flowing in the opposite direction when the flow is cut off as the sealing section (2) then lies against a counterhold or the like in the area to be sealed because the connecting unit (4) is no longer subjected to elongating forces by the media.<IMAGE>
