Abstract

The slider (4) reciprocates along a rectangular frame (8) and is articulated to one end of a pair of double parallel linkage (2a,2b,3a,3b). The links are connected at their opposite ends to the platform (1) for supporting the wheelchair. - When the slider is in its outer end position, the platform is lowered to ground level, while in its opposite end position, the parallel linkage and the platform are drawn into the frame.
