Abstract

Device with a piston-cylinder device divided in two, with a piston equipped with piston tightening material for locking it to the piston rod, consisting of a removable mounted, peripheral, surrounding track in the piston rod, divided clamp rings and a applied spacer device between the piston parts which holds the piston parts in contact with each of the clamp rings arranged on the piston rings, whereby these rings are partially or entirely covered by the respective piston parts and held in place by these in their respective tracks. For avoiding double piston tightening, as is the case with a known product of the type of piston locking device in question, and thereby for retention of the smallest possible piston length, the piston divided in two (2) has its division intersection located in a diametrical plane which extends itself though both parts of the piston's (3, 4) engaged track, in which the piston tightening material (6) is set up, and that the diametrically divided distance device (18) has an outer diameter which is the same as the diameter of the last mentioned track and with its outer mantel surface forms part of the bottom in the track for the piston tightening material (6), which surrounds the distance device (18) and keeps this in place between both of the piston halves (3, 4).<IMAGE>
