Abstract

Method for measuring used or generated heat mass from of a streaming liquid or gas is based on sampling of flow rate information available in frequency form, as a function of differential temperature. Essential components in this procedure, which replaces methods requiring exact oscillator frequencies and data processing, include a function generator (4), temperature sensors (5,6), a differential amplifier (7), and a comparator (8), through which the sample frequency and sample size is determined. It is possible through a correlated dimensioning of the flow rate sensor (1) and the counter (10) to arbitrarily determine the measurement and control equipment in the current procedure within the boundaries allowed by the components.<IMAGE>
