Abstract

Manure discharge apparatus comprising a pivotable plate (14) reciprocatingly driven by a hydraulic cylinder (10, 11), the plate (14) being adapted for gliding, when actuated, in a discharge duct with a sloping wall (5) forming a decreasing cross-sectional area in the duct (7) towards the discharge portion, whereby the advancing pressure can be utilized for compression in the discharge portion, which has a less cross-sectional area.
