Abstract

A device on picture frame for illuminating the picture consists of a pair of electric conductors (14, 15) along at least one of the side edges (e.g. 13) of the picture and at least one electric light (19) equipped with two contacts (20, 21) that are each in contact with one of the conductors. The lamp or lamps (19) can be moved along the electric conductors and remain in contact with these. There are reflectors around the lamps that can be adjusted in different positions to provide smooth lighting across the whole picture.<IMAGE>
