Abstract

The safety device prevents continued movement in torque-transmitting components, and comprises a friction union (7) which connects the individual components (3,6). A release mechanism activates the safety arrangement when drive disturbance occurs. The release mechanism includes a curved component (11) causing the first transmission component (3) to be controlled in its movement, with a guide pin (13) acting similarly for the second component. Under the effect of the curved component, the guide pin presses against a breaker (16,17) which brings the safety device into action (25).
