Abstract

In a system for transporting goods downwards, e.g. for delivery to the hold of a ship, using a conveyor belt (5), the goods (1) are portioned onto the belt (5) which is equipped with suitable shaped flaps (4), upon which the goods mainly rest when the belt is travelling along a generally vertical run.
