1494093 Synergistic herbicide composition SIEGFRIED AG 19 Nov 1974 [19 Nov 1973] 50147/74 Heading ASE A herbicidal composition comprises at least one N-phenyl-N'-methoxy-N'-methyl urea whose phenyl group is substituted by at least one chlorine atom, including a chlorine atom in the 4-position and at least one &alpha;-naphthoxy acetamide of the formula: wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP> and R<SP>3</SP> are the same or different and represent hydrogen or alkyl radicals containing up to 3 carbon atoms: Specified compounds are linuron, monolinuron and 2-(2-naphthoxy)-N, N,-diethyl propiohamide. The composition finds particular application in combating weeds in beans or potato crops.
