Abstract

An antenna arrangement (200, 200’) for a vehicle radar transceiver (102) comprises a radiating layer (220) having a radiating surface (221), the radiating surface (221) delimited by a surface boundary (223) and at least one aperture (222) arranged in the radiating surface (221). A surface current suppressing layer (230) comprising at least one electromagnetic absorber is arranged on the radiating surface (221). The at least one electromagnetic absorber forms at least one opening (231, 231 ’) overlying the at least one aperture (222), and is arranged to suppress a surface current from the at least one aperture (222) to the surface boundary (223). The antenna arrangement (200, 200’) further comprises a metal layer (240) arranged on an opposite surface of the at least one electromagnetic absorber, facing away from the radiating surface (221).
