Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement in a microwave oven for moderating the radiation towards an object (3) placed in the oven (1). In order to moderate a pulsating radiation from a microwave-radiating source (7) with high power pulses, and at the same time protect the microwave-radiating source from reflected radiation, the object is, according to the invention, enclosed by a cap (5) with an outer layer (10) consisting of a microwave radiation absorbing material and an inner layer (11) that has certain parts (12) pervious to microwave radiation and the rest of the layer impervious to microwave radiation.

Description
