Abstract
Description
15 20 25 30 35 83i fl1 s567-7 2 cases even now e.g. a power station. Other cavities in the floor also give rise to water outflow in the same, which water outflow can cause troublesome damage. This is especially the case in connection with the so-called floating floors.
When drilling in walls, etc., when the pipe drill must be kept basically horizontal, the difficulties in taking care of the outflowing cuttings-carrying water become very great.
During underwater drilling, the outflowing contaminated water gives a serious deterioration in visibility. In order to circulate water around the pipe drill bit, water must also be supplied through the pipe drill under high pressure.
I sådana sammanhang försöker man idag borra “torrt". The supply of water requires that the drilling machine equipment, to which the pipe drill is connected, be provided with a so-called water play. This means a complication that limits the number of usable drilling equipment. In some contexts, it is not at all possible to use water as a cooling and rinsing medium. In such contexts, people today try to drill “dry.” This means major cooling problems, at the same time as they usually have a particularly troublesome dust development.
OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to provide an improved pipe drill in hole drilling, whereby the above-mentioned problems can be eliminated in an advantageous manner.
OF THE INVENTION The above object is achieved by a pipe drill according to the invention, which has the features stated in the appended claims.
When using a pipe drill according to the invention, a fluid intended for removing drill cuttings and / or cooling the pipe drill is supplied to the outside of the pipe drill, and the fluid is sucked out, after it has generally passed the pipe drill insert, through the interior of the pipe drill. In other words, the interior of the pipe drill is connected to a suction source in a suitable manner, as will be reported later. This suction source can usually consist of a conventional so-called wet suction, which has previously been used to suck up from a borehole on the outside of the pipe drill upstream of cuttings-bearing cooling water. By reversing the flow direction of the fluid in combination with internal suction in the pipe drill, which is used in connection with the pipe drill according to the invention, a number of significant effects are obtained. The fluid (usually water or air) that can easily be supplied without pressure on the outside of the pipe drill, e.g. simply through a line which opens next to the pipe drill where it enters the floor or the like, a controlled flow path is provided in direct connection to the pipe drill and cannot leave this flow path and cause problems. The fluid is sucked in directly along the pipe drill without being able to spread externally away from the borehole, even if this is horizontal. Once down in the borehole, the fluid is sucked along the pipe drill and suitably via the drill inserts into the interior of the pipe drill, without any fluid flowing away transversely through a drilled pipe or the like. The fluid that carries cuttings up through the inside of the pipe drill, keeps the outside of the pipe drill clean and gives a polishing or abrasive effect on the drill core inside the pipe drill. The drill core thereby becomes extremely smooth and easy to handle.
It has further been found that the fluid transport of drill cuttings inwards from the drill bits tends to give less deposits on the drill bits. Since you have full control over the supplied fluid, you can, if desired, add abrasive to this, which helps to give a good drilling effect and keep the drill cuttings clean and sharp.
The full control of the fluid further means that it can be recycled to advantage. This is particularly advantageous in cases where there is no access to a continuous supply of the utilized fluid, e.g. water. It has been found here that if recycled water is allowed to contain a certain amount of fine drilling cuttings, this gives an advantageous grinding effect of the same kind as mentioned above.
The full control of recycled fluid also means that you can work with special fluids if desired.
Recirculation of the fluid means that in winter you can work with suitably heated water as fluid, thus eliminating troublesome icing and slipping problems. The heating can easily take place in the utilized wet vacuum.
In connection with continuous drilling, the pipe drill according to the invention gives two significant effects. Firstly, the outflow of fluid into the second space can be completely prevented and secondly, as a rule, the drill core cannot fall down into the second space, because it sucked inside the pipe drill.
This suction effect can also be used to lift a broken drill core from the bottom of a non-through-going borehole in a simple and smooth manner, especially when it is deep.
In cases where the substrate in which drilling takes place is of such a nature that no cohesive drill core is formed, the pipe drill according to the invention allows the drill core material to be easily and continuously sucked away through the pipe drill together with the fluid used.
In cases where you do not want or may use a liquid such as flushing and cooling fluid, you can instead use air or other gas, e.g. cold carbon dioxide, without this posing any risk of troublesome dust dispersal. This makes it possible to drill e.g. in brick even under very demanding conditions, such as in switchgear and data centers.
The pipe drill according to the invention comprises a cylindrical drill pipe with drill cutters arranged at one pipe end and with spindle or shaft elements arranged at the other end for connection to a drilling machine, the spindle or shaft element being hollow and in connection with the interior of the pipe drill and provided with a side opening and wherein the spindle or shaft element is arranged to cooperate with a side connection provided side connection provided with a element, to form a swivel-type suction coupling and for connection to a suction source for suction of a flushing fluid through the interior of the pipe drill in connection with drilling. The special feature of the pipe drill is that the spindle or shaft element has a part with a cylindrical outer surface with a reduced diameter area, wherein said side opening to the interior of the element is arranged, and that said sleeve means comprises a cylindrical pipe sleeve, which has a tubular side connection socket for connection to a suction line, wherein the pipe sleeve is arranged rotatably relative to and on the outside of the spindle or shaft element, so that the pipe sleeve at least substantially sealingly connects to the cylindrical outer surface of the spindle or shaft element on either side of said area and so that between said sleeve area, a circumferential suction gap is formed, and wherein the tube sleeve is arranged to rest on a circumferential ledge below the cylindrical outer surface, and the spindle or shaft element and the tube sleeve are designed so that the tube sleeve can be easily slid on the respective is removed from the spindle or shaft element.
The invention will be further apparent from the following detailed description of a non-limiting embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawing.

Pig. 2 is a schematic vertical partial sectional view of the upper part of a pipe drill provided with a suction coupling means in accordance with the invention. Pig. 3 is a vertical partial sectional view of the lower cutting portion of the pipe drill during holding.
Detta vattenflöde är illustre- rat med pilar i fig. l-3.DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT The in Pig. 1-3, the device comprises a drilling stand 1, a drilling machine 3 adjustably lowered and raised in the frame, a pipe drill 5 fixed in the drilling machine and a wet suction 7. The device is arranged for receiving a hole 9 in a concrete floor 11. The wet suction 7 has its suction line 13 connected to a suction coupling means 15 arranged at the top of the pipe drill 5. In the wet-suction purified water is recycled via a line 17 to the edge of the hole 9, where the water is allowed to flow without pressure into the hole next to the pipe drill S, The water thus flows down on the outside of the pipe drill 5, past the pipe drill bit Z1 in the spaces between these blades while carrying drill cuttings and during cooling of the inserts, up along the inside of the pipe drill and through the hollow shaft 5 of the pipe drill 5 and the suction coupling means 15 and line 13 back to the wet suction 7. This water flow is illustrated with arrows in Fig. 1-3.
Sugkopplingsorganets 15 uppbyggnad framgår av fig. 2.The construction of the suction coupling member 15 is shown in Fig. 2.
An axial shank pipe 27 is fixed in the upper end wall 25 of the cylindrical pipe drill 5, so that its lower open end 29 extends a smaller distance into the interior of the pipe drill 5. A plug 31 is fixed in the upper end of the shaft, which constitutes connecting elements for the connection of the pipe drill with the drilling machine 3, which can be of any kind. The plug šl can be in- 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 Sä fi lößïe? threaded, indicated by dashed lines 33, if the interconnection requires threading.
The shaft tube has a cylindrical outer surface with a diameter-reduced area 35 in the middle. In this area there is a round hole 37 in the pipe wall into the interior of the shaft pipe 27. Around the cylindrical part of the shaft pipe 27 there is a cylindrical pipe sleeve 39, which has a tubular side connection connection 41 for the line 13 of the wet suction 7. The connection 41 is level with and has approximately the same section as the hole 37. The sleeve 39, which is rotatable relative to the shank tube 27, rests on a circumferential ledge 43 down on the shank tube 27 and connects substantially sealingly to the two cylinder surfaces 45,47, which are located on either side of the diameter-reduced area 35. This is thus delimited together with the sleeve 39 in a circumferential annular gap 49, which communicates with both the interior of the shank tube 27 and the pipe drill 5 and the connecting piece 41 regardless of the relative position between the sleeve 39 and the shank tube 27. This ensures a continuous suction effect. Larger pieces of extracted material can, however, only be sucked out through the socket 41, as this is in line with the hole 37, ie. once per turn for the pipe drill 5.
It will be appreciated that the described suction coupling means is very simple and that the sleeve 39 can be easily slid on or removed from the shank tube 27. In other words, the same sleeve can be used in combination with many different pipe drills of different sizes and designs, as long as these are only equipped with a perforated shaft tube 27 of uniform design.
2.As previously stated, the lower part 29 of the shaft pipe 27 projects into the interior of the pipe drill 5. The lower part 29 is provided at the free end with a number of recesses 30 in the pipe wall, which ensure the required flow and suction effect even if a broken drill core 51 (indicated by dashed lines) would be sucked up against the lower opening of the shaft tube 27 and close it. In this latter case, however, flow is obtained, as shown by arrows in Fig. 2.
The invention is of course not limited to the embodiment described and described, but changes and modifications are possible within the framework of a broad interpretation of the following claims.
