Det har visat sig att skumristen enligt uppfinningen inte be- häftas med påkladdningar varför inga jordhögar byggs upp på plogen och vidare att den vid överbelastning genom att fjädra undan, släpper fram tiltan över plogbladet. Genom att variera fjädringens hårdhet kan skumristen ställas in så att den fjädrar undan vid en given be- lastning.
