Instrument panel (10) for a vehicle, with a raisable and lowerable cover (20) which in a raised position exposes a space (30) delineated within the panel and which in a lowered position serves as a first table surface (22). To enlarge the table surface, there is a pull-out leaf (40) which has a second table surface (42) and is supported for movement under the cover (20) between a retracted and an extended position.
