Abstract

The present invention consists of a procedure and a device for the removal of cast compounds (2) and such from the inside walls and floors of a recovery boiler (3) and such by means of water-jet chipping (hyroblasting) consisting of a nozzle (5) connected to an angled part (6) and an elongated pipe shaped body (7) arranged to connect to a pressurized pipe whose nozzle (5) is arranged to be inserted through a hole opening (4) of a recovery boiler (3) and controlled with a controlling device (9) connected to the elongated pipe shaped body (7). The elongated pipe shaped body is equipped with bearings (14) and (15) in at least one holding device (8) and the holding device is comprised of a first holder (10) and a second holder (11) which are arranged so they can be mounted onto existing plugs (12) on a hole ramp (13) on a recovery boiler (3).
