Abstract

A method of treating copper sulphide deposits on materials and surfaces that are in contact with electrically insulating oil inside an electrical apparatus. The copper sulphide which deposits on materials and surfaces are subjected to treatment with a iodine compound causing a substitution reaction with the copper sulphide.
