Abstract

A bracket (1) for roof equipment including an engagement portion (2) for engagement with a roof, a fastening portion (3) for fastening said roof equipment and an intermediate deformation portion (4, 4' 4") for receiving excessive loads acting on the fastening portion by deformation includes a first yielding zone (8) , which is adapted to yield at a first loading level in order to allow lowering of the fastening portion (3) in a direction against a general plane (at 2 in Fig. 2) of roof engagement of the bracket (1), and second yielding zone (4, 4', 4") , which is adapted to take up loads exceeding the first load level by deformation.
